Role Description This full-time, on-site Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician role is based in Tampa, FL. The physician will evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of critical care and pulmonary conditions.

This is an inpatient only position. 7on/7off 10hr weekdays and 8hrs weekends with some overinight call from home on the on week.

Day-to-day responsibilities includes inpatient pulmonary consults and critical care management, including rounding in the ICU, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in hospital-based quality initiatives. The physician will document clinical encounters accurately, maintain up-to-date knowledge of guidelines and best practices, and contribute to a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Board eligibility or board certification in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine; completion of an accredited fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in the state of Florida, with current DEA registration.
• Experience in critical care, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and multidisciplinary ICU collaboration.
• Proficient in all ICU Procedures
• Strong skills in patient communication, shared decision-making, and education, with a commitment to culturally sensitive and inclusive care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment with other physicians, residents, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and administrative staff.
• Comfort with electronic health records and accurate, timely documentation of clinical care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification and a strong record of ethical, patient-centered practice.
